													Lead Girl Digital Centre
Lead Girl Digital Centre initiative a joint venture between Love Botswana Outreach Mission and Queen Esther in partnership with Orange Foundation aims to promote access and use of digital technologies by women and girls from rural and hard to reach places in and around Maun for their empowerment and development. With improved digital technologies, women and girls in the region can have greater access to information on basic needs such as education, health care, business and employment. This program will thus ensure that women are not left behind in the digital and technological space and are awarded equal opportunities to use or own digital technologies. Women and girls have the right not only to benefit from information and communication technology, but also to participate in creating new technologies and digital solutions relevant to their context and experiences. This project is thus a great step towards dismantling barriers, breaking stereotypes move obstacles help women reap benefits of technology.
